Atlas Ocean Voyages - 3 Ways to Explore Antarctica Aboard the New World Voyager
Atlas Ocean Voyages is excited to announce their newest, intimate yacht
World Voyager, joining their fleet with new ways to explore Antarctica
in the November 2023 – March 2024 season. With multiple options to
experience the famous Drake Passage by sea and sky, there’s an adventure for
every kind of explorer.
Drake Express
Atlas’ new Antarctica – Drake Express option lets explorers fly straight into
King George Island amid the South Shetland Islands, just off the coast of the
peninsula. Flying over the Drake Passage both at the beginning and end of
their journey maximizes the time spent with boots on the ground, exploring
the Seventh Continent. The Drake Express expedition includes FREE Private
Charter Jet Service between Punta Arenas and King George Island, a FREE
1-Night Pre-Cruise Hotel Stay and 1-Night Post-Cruise Hotel Stay in Punta
Arenas, and a FREE Cultural Immersion in Punta Arenas.
Drake Fly & Sail
If guests still want to lay claim to the experience of navigating the Drake
Passage but spend more time exploring the continent, they can choose one
of Atlas Ocean Voyages’ Antarctica – Drake Fly & Sail expeditions. With
this option, they can sail the Drake one way and fly over it the other. These
expeditions include FREE Private Charter Jet Service between Punta Arenas
and King George Island, and between Ushuaia and Buenos Aires. They also
include a FREE 1-Night Pre-Cruise Hotel Stay and 1-Night Post-Cruise Hotel
Stay, as well a FREE Cultural Immersion Exploring Tierra del Fuego National
Park or in Punta Arenas.
Sail the Drake Both Ways
For explorers who want the total Antarctica experience, Atlas still
offers navigation of the Drake Passage both ways on all Ushuaia
Roundtrip expeditions. Including FREE Private Charter Jet Service
between Ushuaia and Buenos Aires, a FREE 1-Night Pre-Cruise Hotel
Stay in Buenos Aires and FREE Cultural Immersion Exploring Tierra
del Fuego National Park upon disembarking, these expeditions provide
an all-encompassing journey made for the most adventurous souls.
Grand Antarctica Extended Journey
With an option to book back-to-back expeditions for a 19-night voyage,
there is ample opportunity to explore one of the most remote regions
of the world in-depth. Explorers can enjoy more time to experience
every aspect of Antarctica, from sea kayaking amid the ice floes and
coming closer to lounging seals to diving into icy waters with the polar
plunge.
Nordic Chic Design
Atlas Ocean Voyages’ newest yacht World Voyager exudes a sense
of relaxation and comfort reminiscent of the Scandinavian concept
known as hygge. This Nordic chic design takes a minimalist approach
of light tones and stylish contrasts of marble accents throughout
accommodations and social spaces. Such attention to details creates
an open and airy atmosphere that invites explorers to unwind and be
at leisure on board.
Always Included
Aboard an expedition on an intimate yacht, every detail is
carefully curated for an experience with amenities that are
always included. Guests will enjoy a main dining venue with
ever-changing menus, unlimited beverages – including fine
wines, spirits and craft beers – L’OCCITANE bath amenities,
pre-paid gratuities, and more. They will also appreciate Polar
Expedition exclusives, such as FREE shore landings and Zodiac
safaris guided by an expert expedition team, an Atlas Ocean
Voyages parka and vest, and more.
