The legendary annual Casamigos Halloween Party is back for the first time in two years. Held at a private home in Beverly Hills, the exclusive party is the most coveted event of the year. Hosted by Casamigos co-founders Rande Gerber, George Clooney and Mike Meldman, the trio are notorious for throwing the best Halloween party there is.
The infamous party is impossible to get an invite to, and if you do, you’re one of the lucky ones. All attendees are part of the ‘House of Friends’, a group of A-list celebrities and friends with founders Rande, George and Mike. The super-tight guest list is coveted by many, the party has even had issues with people selling fake tickets on craigslist for thousands of dollars.
Guests over the years have included Leonardo DiCaprio, Justin Timberlake, Kim Kardashian, Chuck Liddell, Jessica Biel, Steve Tisch, Zoe and Lenny Kravitz, Charlotte McKinney, Rickie Fowler, Floyd Mayweather, Tony Gonzalez, Sean Penn, and Brian Grazer.
Casamigos was founded by longtime friends George Clooney, Rande Gerber, and Michael Meldman.

We caught up with Rande Gerber on his best inside tips for throwing the perfect Halloween party.
The Casamigos Halloween Party is the party of the year. Some have called it the Vanity Fair party of Halloween. What makes the Casamigos Halloween Party so legendary?
Rande Gerber: We are fortunate to have an incredible list of people who love Casamigos. Our House of Friends is really important to us, and we protect everyone’s privacy. There are no photographers allowed in the party and our guests feel safe once they enter so everyone really lets loose.
What kind of music do you play?
Each party I curate a special Casamigos playlist. It usually starts off pretty mellow earlier in the night, so the music is conducive for socializing. As the night goes on and the party picks up, we turn it up and play some old school dance mixes as well as some new favorites.
How do you come up with your signature cocktail?
We have our own Casamigos recipes even for the classics like the Casamigos Margarita or Paloma which we will always serve at our parties. We also have unique recipes we come up with that fit the theme of our parties whether it’s Halloween, a beach party or someone’s birthday.
What are your top tips to throw the ultimate party?
Have a cool costume theme. It was funny to see people dressed up as Casamigos bottles or me or George and Mike. Always do something that surprises the guests, something that’s unexpected to make it interesting. Maybe a guest performance or DJ. Ultimately, it’s the people that make a party.
Vampire Bite
2 oz. Casamigos Mezcal
1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
.75 oz. Simple Syrup
2 Dashes Orange Bitters
1 Jalapeno Slice
Garnish Food Grade Red Dye Honey Blood Drip*
(and Vampire Fangs)
Method: Roll upper portion of martini glass in food grade red dye honey and swirl until coating the entire rim of glass. Then slowly spin glass at an angle and let red honey drip down exterior wall of glass. Combine all ingredients into tin shaker, and muddle jalapeno. Add ice, shake vigorously and fine strain into martini glass. Garnish.
*To create Red Dye Honey – Pour approximately 2 oz of honey into a medium bowl or plate and add 1-2 drops of food grade red dye, and stir well with spoon until evenly colored. Keep at room temperature for best mixability.
