In a collaboration that brings the worlds of sports and fragrance together, Sheralven, a leader in the beauty industry, has been chosen by Melbourne-based Game On Product Group to exclusively distribute Messi Eau de Parfum in North America. This exciting new scent, the first from legendary soccer icon Leo Messi, will be available exclusively at over 600 JC Penney stores across the U.S. and Puerto Rico, as well as online at jcpenney.com, beginning this October.
Inspired by Messi’s international career and the global diversity of the World Cup, the fragrance encapsulates his unmistakable personal brand. As Messi explained, “I have always been passionate about fragrance, and I am extremely excited to produce my very own signature scent. This is truly a unique fragrance in a personalized bottle, for all fans around the world.”
The scent was crafted by Frank Voelkl, Principal Perfumer at DSM – Firmenich, who was eager to create a fragrance as memorable as Messi. “The scent contains fresh top notes of cardamom and wild cypress, contrasted by warm notes of leather and cedarwood,” said Voelkl. “Together with hints of vanilla, the fragrance wears nicely on the skin, creating an aura that leaves everyone wanting more. It’s perfect for anyone looking to feel confident and strong, just like Messi.”
Packaged in a navy-blue glass bottle molded with the Messi logo, the 3.4-oz. Eau de Parfum retails for $72, while an $88 gift set includes an 8.5-oz. body wash and a Messi-branded toiletry bag just in time for holiday shopping.
