Oceana Bal Harbour -World-Class Living & Art
Oceana Bal Harbour is a 240-unit glass tower with residences ranging from $3 million to $30 million. Billionaire art and real estate mogul, Eduardo Costantini (founder of the famous MALBA museum in Buenos Aires), conceptualized Oceana Bal Harbour to put art first by building gallery-like lobbies and spaces that served as platforms for artists to exhibit world class masterworks.
The two gems of the property include two larger-than-life sculptures, Seated Ballerina and Pluto and Proserpina, by the most prolific living artist, Jeff Koons. Costantini was so convinced in the value of the pieces, he bought them from a drawing on a napkin, before Koons was finished with either piece.
Prior to calling Oceana home, they toured some of the top museums around the world, including the Whitney in NYC, the Pompedou in Paris, the Guggenheim in Spain and MALBA in Argentina. The collection also includes masterworks by the acclaimed Callum Innes, An Te Liu, Jorge Mendez Blake, Taryn Simon, Juan Usle and Garth Weiser.
