Silo Ridge - The Ultimate Winter Amenities
At Discovery Land Company’s properties, the stunning natural backdrops are only a part of the story. Discovery – an international luxury residential community developer – is also known for their one-of-kind amenities within their projects that offer a multitude of ways for members and their loved ones to relax and reconnect. Situated in the picturesque Hudson Valley, Silo Ridge Field Club boasts some of the most unique and innovative amenities the company has developed to date – most recently, an family-friendly activity center called The Barn, as well as its first ice skating rink and a mountain cabin stocked with all the tools members need for adventure.
The Barn
The Barn is the heart and soul of this private, members-only community. With 11,000 square feet of open and flexible multipurpose space, The Barn is a one-stop gathering place for food and drinks, games, crafts, movies, music, and more. The Barn’s unique architecture and interior design allow room to transform the space for endless fun, from movie nights and sports viewing to live music and family dinners. A relaxed 120-seat dining room and bar surround a double-height fireplace, inviting guests to linger around the warmth of the hearth, and long farmhouse-style tables anchor the large space, providing an opportunity for multiple families and friends to gather.
The Ice Rink
Silo’s ice rink, the first of its kind for Discovery, will give members the chance to enjoy the thrill of the ice from family skating to hockey games. Spectator seating and bright lights surround this Olympic-sized rink, and members are able to join in open skate, hockey games, and lessons.
The Mountain Cabin
The Mountain Cabin is the headquarters for Discovery’s signature Outdoor Pursuits program at Silo Ridge. At this new amenity, members can take part in axe throwing, hunting, skeet shooting, archery, 3D archery, ATV rides, and snowmobiling; expert adventurers from within the region also provide top-of-the-line equipment, lessons, and tips so members can make the most of their time outdoors. Designed to help families create lifelong memories, Discovery’s Outdoor Pursuits program offers an array of exciting regional nature-based activities based on the landscape and surroundings of each club. Skilled in adventure and equipped with the latest gear, Discovery’s seasoned Outdoor Pursuits professionals have abundant local knowledge and are trained to help members go outside of their comfort zones while creating unforgettable memories with friends and family.
