At the venue a live local band plays both local “rake n scrape” music and crowd favorite covers. The evening ends with rythmic Junkanoo that everyone can participate in and enjoy. All this takes place at the scenic Grace bay Beach which makes it a truly unforgettable experience.
Additionally, what’s truly fun about visiting the islands is that not only are you on the world’s best beaches, but almost every imaginable watersport is at your fingertips. You can have fun gliding above the water’s surface parasailing, kiteboarding, kayaking, paddling boarding and much more. Facts about the Islands
Of the over forty islands, only nine are inhabited! Of the nine, six islands are primarily inhabited by the local population which are Providenciales, North Caicos, Middle Caicos, South Caicos, Grand Turk and Salt Cay, the three private islands are Pine Cay, Parrot Cay and Ambergris Cay. Each Sister Island in the archipelago can be considered a destination in their own right as they each have their own charm and cultural identity. However, all are known for their world class hospitality.
Providenciales
This island is home to the infamous 12-mile Grace Bay Beach, yet there are many beautiful white beaches on this island. Visitors are recommended to venture off unto other beaches on Long Bay, Blue Hills and other areas on island. North and Middle Caicos
North Caicos is a quick ferry ride away and arguably the best island to go birdwatching on, for those who love flamingos Cottage Pond offers the best view of these regal creatures. From here you can venture off into Middle Caicos via a scenic causeway. This island is home to the iconic photoshoot worth praying hands at Mudjin Harbour, here you can bask in cliffside views that offer the perfect view of famous dragon cay.
South Caicos
South Caicos, which is accessible by plane or boat, is affectionately called the ‘Big South’ by locals. This island is home to both luxury and welcoming rustic properties that are eager to greet visitors. This island is also considered the ‘fishing capital’ of the Turks and Caicos and has some the best seafood-based cuisine in the destination. The snorkeling and kayaking and other water-based experiences are unrivaled.
Grand Turk
The Nation’s capital of Grand Turk is also a quick flight away from Providenciales with daily flights between the islands. Grand Turk is world renown for its diving and award winning cruise port. Visitors from around the world visit this hospitable island to dive the world’s 3rd largest barrier reefs and 7000 feet wall drop dubbed the ‘ Great Wall’. Salt Cay
Salt Cay albeit the smallest Sister Island being only 2.5 square miles has the most character. Once you step on island you will be instantly transported to different time.
